CAS438- Christmas in July hosted by Misti
TLC647- DIY Plaid hosted by Sabrina
This is my second card with the Plaid technique.
As I mentioned in my previous card, too much coffee got the best of my line drawing, and then my cell phone rang and got a little wiggly with the red line near the 'Y'.
Die cut the letters, stamped, heat embossed & fussy cut the angel and popped her up in foam dots.
I will give this Christmas card to my sister as it was her phone call that startled me and will write the back story in the card. She will get a kick out of it.

What a fabulous plaid! Love how your word, JOY pops on the plaid.

I like the colors you chose for this pretty plaid background - not sure I am going to try that technique, don't think I can be steady enough to draw straight lines!

You did a fabulous job making your own plaid! LOL about giving it to your sister! She will love that you were making this when she called!!! The focal point is beautiful too!
